Areas of Impact

The Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation focuses on several key areas to improve health outcomes across the state:

Our First Breath program supports pregnant individuals to make positive changes to their tobacco, alcohol and substance use during pregnancy and beyond.

The Well Badger Resource Center connects individuals to essential social, health and government programs in their communities.

It also is the home of the Youth Wellness Hub – a free online tool to help caregivers navigate resources for a child/teen with mental or behavioral health concerns.

The GrapeVine program empowers Wisconsin residents with trusted health information and resources to prevent chronic diseases and achieve their fullest potential.

We work to reduce breast and lung cancer disparities across Wisconsin through initiatives like the Mammographic Quality Initiative and Collaborative Work Groups.

As the leading cause of death for both men and women, we’re partnering with various organizations, like WISEWOMAN, to address cardiovascular disease through targeted initiatives.
