I decided to quit on April 19th, 2018 when I found out I was pregnant. I was so excited. I did great quitting cold turkey for about 3 months. Then I became really stressed out and started back smoking. I kept it at very little, about 1 or 2 cigs a day. Then my stress level went up. Every single thing was falling apart before my very eyes, and I started overeating and smoking 3 cigarettes a day.
I was still pregnant, so I made a promise to myself to stop before baby gets here. So, January is right around the corner, so I started to take 30-minute walks to get my stress out instead of smoking. I walked to cool down. I made it mid-December and before I knew it, I stopped. Now it’s June 25th and I’m smoke-free. Me and baby are healthy, and I have a few extra bucks and still working off the baby weight. It’s great to stop smoking. It’s easier to breathe and walk and you don’t smell so bad. Try it, you won’t be disappointed.
