Miscarriage

I quit smoking shortly after I found out I was pregnant with my daughter in May 2017. I had had 2 previous miscarriages, and I was smoking when I had those. I didn’t want to have another miscarriage, so I quit within a week of finding out. I didn’t do anything specific. I finished the last couple cigarettes I had and just never bought more. I don’t get as winded when I go on walks or take the stairs anymore. I breathe better and foods taste better also.

My advice is, don’t let the pressure or cravings get to you. When you have the urge to smoke, take that energy and put it towards something else; coloring, paint your nails, practice your make up, clean. Just something to take your mind off of it. 😊
